We help teams at stretched capacity

prevent burnout and increase productivity, even through their relentless pace of work, with the people they already have.

Founder, Thriving Workplaces

Before Thriving Workplaces, I served as Alberta's Associate Minister of Health, responsible for mental health, substance use, maternal and infant care, and end-of-life care. And that was during my term as MLA for Calgary-Acadia.

I spent a long time watching good policy get built, then watching it fail the people it was meant to help once it landed on an overloaded team with no real time to implement it. The problem was rarely the people. It was almost always the system they were operating inside.

I founded Thriving Workplaces to fix that system, one organization at a time. To help teams at stretched capacity prevent burnout and increase productivity, even through their relentless pace of work, with the people they already have.

How I work

I'll tell you what I actually think, not what's easiest to hear. I'd rather talk a leader out of working with me than watch them spend money on the wrong fix.

I'm not interested in a transformation program that looks great in a proposal and falls apart by month three. Small changes that actually stick beat big ones that don't, every time.

My particular skill is taking something that sounds like policy or theory and turning it into what a manager actually does on a Tuesday, when the inbox is exploding and there's no time to read a framework.

Book a 30-minute call. No pitch, just an honest conversation about what's actually happening on your team.
